Training for new owners or crews new to the type can be provided following delivery or as a separate service. Insurance companies recognize Captain Crerar’s extensive experience on numerous types and this allows him to provide quality instruction on most GA aircraft and many intermediate aircraft of greater complexity.
When training is provided in your own aircraft, you become fully familiar with your new equipment. Insurance approval documents are provided upon successful completion of competency checks.
Dave also has extensive experience in test flying during development and certification of the former ‘Advanced Wing’ for the Beaver. More recently, with Valdor Aircraft, flight testing and certification of the conversion of a conventional piston Beaver to a PT6-34 with the now “BX” wing took him across Canada twice and up to Alaska, accumulating over 200 Hrs on this aircraft alone.
